Raavan collects more than half a million this weekend in US


Washington, June 20 (PTI) Abhishek and Aishwarya starrer ''Raavan'' has collected more than half a million dollar in its first weekend and has opened at number 15 on North America Box Office. Directed and co-written by Mani Ratnam, the movie collected USD 189,953 on Friday and got USD 189,422 on the box office yesterday.
The total collection on the first weekend is USD 551,375; promoters of the movie said. The film''s score and soundtrack is composed by A R Rahman.
The film was released on June 18 and its premier was held in London on June 16.
